Trinity Women,
I want to extend an invite to you all to join me and a few other women from Trinity to discuss this book during the second service on both Sunday, September 27th and Sunday, October 4th.
After trying to find a time to meet with a few other women, we determined that because we will already be at church on Sundays, we should just attend the 1st service and then take a stroll down to Griffin Coffee after the second service starts to discuss the 5 different myths culture tells women that are covered in this book.
Each of these myths (like you're enough, you determine your truth, and you're perfect the way you are) are debunked by going to God's word to show how Christians cannot believe these myths as they go against his word and then we're shown how the Christian life is more fulfilling and hopeful! By reading this together, I hope we also find that we're much more capable at addressing these in ourselves and conversations we find ourselves in!
Please let myself, Amy Hanson or Kaitlyn Edison know if you plan to join us for both discussions!
What you need to know:
1. We will discuss the Intro through Myth 2 on September 27th. We will discuss Myths 3-5 and the Conclusion on Sunday, October 4th. (You can read ahead of the discussion plan but we ask that you commit to reading the book if you are going to join the discussion.)
2. You're Not Enough (and that's okay) is available on Amazon, Audible, and can be checked out through Axis 360.
3. If you're interested in knowing more about Allie Beth Stuckey, you can subscribe to her podcast or watch her on YouTube. Her interviews are a go-to for me!
Regardless of being able to join us for these two discussions, I'd encourage you to read this quick little book and if you plan to join us, please let us know (space is limited)!
