Please come enjoy a breakfast/brunch gardening event in February at Karen White’s home! 

 Maybe you have never grown flowers or vegetables, or have never grown from seed; or, maybe you are a seasoned gardener already and just enjoy talking about plants - this event is for you! Karen particularly focuses on cut flower growing in her own garden, but most techniques we will cover apply to growing vegetables, herbs, and ornamental plants as well.

Planned topics include:

- starting seeds indoors

- tips for success with our local growing zone and weather 

- combination ideas for your own bouquets 

- growing dahlias 

- attracting hummingbirds and pollinators 

- local gardening resources 

- books, podcasts, & other resources for learning more

Cold, snowy February is a great time to plan your garden and get seeds together for starting! Even if gardening isn’t something you are interested in, please come anyway and enjoy fellowship with other Trinity ladies or bring a friend! If you already garden and have extra seeds you’ve collected to share, please bring some for a seed swap! (If not, Karen will have some for you to experiment with.)

Gardening is not just a fun hobby - it’s one of the ways God designed us to enjoy Him and steward his wonderful creation, and extend hospitality to our families and neighbors. We look forward to seeing you there!
